Open cash register interface

There are various ways in which the cash register can be opened.

1. directly when opening the cash register user in the setup wizard
2. from the backend (Web cash register - Cash register user/login - Login)
3. via the webshop (Login - Profile - Go to checkout)

Prerequisite: checkout user must be created

IMPORTANT: In order to be able to log in to the web cash register, a corresponding cash register user must have been created with which you can log in.

Possible cause of problems

If you cannot open the cash register interface as described, check whether you are already logged in as a shop customer.

If you have already created a customer account and are logged into the shop with it, there are two options:

• You log out of the shop and log in again with the checkout user
• You give the customer the right to access the web checkout (in the administration area “Customers/Orders” - “Customer management” select and edit your account - then activate the option “Checkout user”)

1. login via the setup wizard

When you set up the cash register for the first time as described in the article First steps 21.POS, the setup wizard for the cash register opens automatically. After you have created a cash register user, you have the option of opening the web cash register directly: “Open cash register”.

2 Calling up the cash register from the admin area

If you have already set up the cash register and created a cash register user, you can open the cash register interface directly from the admin area and automatically log in as a cash register user.

In the admin area, select “Web cash register” at the bottom of the left-hand navigation and then switch to the “Cash register user / Login” area.

If a cash register user has already been entered, click on the “Login” button to the right of the first name and surname. The cash register interface opens automatically and you are logged in as this cash register user.

3 Login via the webshop

If you have employees who do not have access to the admin area of your store and POS system, they can also log in to the cash register via the public part of the store:

Open the customer view of the webshop and click on “Log in” in the top right-hand corner

Then log in with the login and password of your checkout user

After logging in, you will automatically be in the user’s profile. Select “Go to checkout” here at the web checkout
