Configuring delivery countries & shipping

Required to get started

  • Access to the 21.Shop administration

Step 1: Manage country groups

  1. In the shop administration, go to
Settings → Delivery countries / Shipping.
  2. Select an existing country group (e.g. Country Group 1) or create a new one.

Country groups allow you to assign the same shipping methods to multiple countries.

Step 2: Edit country group

  1. Open the desired country group.
  2. You will be taken to the editing screen.

Here you can:

  • Set a minimum quantity surcharge
  • Determine whether VAT is charged on shipping costs
  • Display additional cost information
  • Configure shipping methods for the country group

Step 3: Configure shipping method

  1. Select a shipping method within the country group (e.g. ‘PostPac Economy’).
  2. Open the editing screen for the shipping method.

The following settings are available:

  • Customise the name of the shipping method
  • Define shipping cost exemption
  • Shipping costs based on:
    • Weight
    • Price
    • Flat rate
  • Configure local collection

Note: Save your changes before leaving the screen.

Step 4: Assign payment methods

After returning to the country group overview, you can specify which payment methods are accepted for this country group.

  • Add payment methods
  • Remove payment methods

Step 5: Specify the main delivery country

Under Delivery countries / Shipping, you can define the main delivery country.

The following options are available:

  • Switzerland
  • Liechtenstein
  • Italy
  • France
  • Austria
  • Germany

The main delivery country influences, among other things, the standard display at checkout.

Step 6: Manage countries not served

You can explicitly define countries as not serviced.

  • If a country is listed in the list of countries not served, it is considered blocked.
  • If you remove a country from this list, it will be listed as serviced again.
