AbaNinja
Introduction
21.AbaNinja is the financial accounting system from Swiss21.org. You can link 21.AbaNinja directly with 21.COMMERCE and thus automatically synchronise all sales and orders with 21.AbaNinja. In this guide, we explain how to configure the interface, how the data is synchronised and answer the most frequently asked questions.
Advantages of the interface
- Setup in a few minutes: You can connect 21.AbaNinja to 21.COMMERCE with just a few clicks and start immediately.
- Simple initial synchronisation: When setting up the interface, you can transfer items from 21.AbaNinja to 21.COMMERCE or vice versa with a single click.
- Real-time order transfer: Orders and sales are synchronised with 21.AbaNinja in real time. All relevant article and customer data is automatically recognised and correctly booked in 21.AbaNinja.
- Automated document creation: 21.AbaNinja automatically creates the necessary documents such as delivery notes or invoices after receipt of the order.
- Accounting & control: 21.AbaNinja automatically creates a simple accounting system from your invoices and supplier documents and compares the account movements with your customer invoices.
- Convenient data synchronisation: When orders are transmitted, the articles and customers contained in them are automatically re-entered or updated in 21.AbaNinja.

Necessary for the start
- 21st AbaNinja already installed and configured

Step 1: Module installation in 21.COMMERCE
- open the 21.SHOP or 21.POS application in the Swiss21 portal.
- open the “Modules” application in the left-hand column
- click on “Module administration” → “Modules not yet installed” → “AbaNinja “.
- click on “Manage module “.
Step 2: Connect 21.COMMERCE with 21.AbaNinja
- we are now in the 21.AbaNinja module.
- click on “Connect “ in the ”First steps “ tab.
- once the connection has been established, click on “Complete setup “.
- switch to the “Configuration “ tab.
- in the “General settings “ section, the ”Active” box should be ticked. The interface is now activated.
Step 3: Synchronise articles
You have the option of exporting the articles from 21.AbaNinja to 21.COMMERCE or vice versa. You can also do this later. We recommend that you use 21.COMMERCE as your main system. This means that you always enter new articles and changes to articles in 21.COMMERCE and synchronise them with 21.AbaNinja. You can find more information about synchronising data in the “Synchronising data” chapter.
Case 1: You have already entered your items in 21.COMMERCE
- switch to the “First steps “ tab in the 21.AbaNinja module
- click on “21.COMMERCE → AbaNinja “ under ”Synchronize products “.
- all your articles have been exported to 21.AbaNinja.
Case 2: You have previously entered articles in 21.AbaNinja
- switch to the “First steps “ tab in the 21.AbaNinja module
- click on “AbaNinja → 21.COMMERCE “ under ”Item synchronisation”
- all your articles have been exported to 21.COMMERCE
- in future, enter new articles and changes in 21.COMMERCE and synchronise them as follows:
- switch to the “First steps “ tab in the 21.AbaNinja module.
- click on “21.COMMERCE → AbaNinja “ under ”Synchronize products”.
- all your articles have been exported to 21.AbaNinja and synchronised.
Step 4: Test order / test sale
- carry out a test order / test sale.
- switch to 21.AbaNinja.
- go to “Customers” → “Invoices “.
- here you will find the test order or test sale under the tab “Open “ or ”Completed “.

- It is not possible to create a customer account in AbaNinja as there is no option for login and password. - Changes to customers in AbaNinja are automatically synchronised with PepperShop. |

Manual synchronisation of articles
How to manually synchronise the articles from 21.COMMERCE to 21.AbaNinja.
- go to the 21.COMMCERCE administration.
- click on “Modules “ in the navigation bar on the left.
- click on the 21.AbaNinja module
- switch to the “First steps “ tab in the 21.AbaNinja module
- click on “21.COMMERCE → AbaNinja “ under ”Synchronize products”.
- all your articles have been exported to 21.AbaNinja and synchronised.
Frequently asked questions
Are daily closings, cancellations, cash balance and chargebacks transferred to 21.AbaNinja?
Unfortunately, these functions cannot currently be synchronised with 21.AbaNinja.
Can revenue accounts be stored in the cash register?
21.AbaNinja is not yet able to assign accounts.
