Declaration of accessibility

Inhaltsverzeichnis

Introduction

Digital accessibility will be mandatory in the EU from 28 June 2025. Swiss online shops that sell in EU countries must also fulfil these requirements - otherwise they could face heavy fines.

The accessibility declaration is a documentation of the accessibility status of your online shop. All online shops affected by the EAA (European Accessibility Act) are legally obliged to make this accessibility statement visibly available in the online shop. In this guide, we provide you with a template for the accessibility statement and explain how to link it.

When you are affected

Companies that operate an online shop and deliver goods to end customers in the EU are generally affected. However, there are exceptions for small companies or if you operate a closed system with B2B customers.

Declaration of accessibility

Target declaration

Our aim is to provide unrestricted access to our website for all people - regardless of their physical, sensory, cognitive or technical abilities. We are convinced that digital participation is a fundamental right and want to ensure that our content is understandable, accessible and usable for as many users as possible.

We are therefore continuously committed to making our digital services accessible. In doing so, we are guided by the internationally recognised standards of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and take into account legal requirements for digital accessibility. Our aim is to gradually remove existing barriers.

Accessibility status

This website is currently being redesigned on the basis of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 - Conformance Level AA.

Most of the content and functions will be accessible and compatible with the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU Accessibility Act).

However, we are currently working to finalise this important upgrade. The current plan is to complete the realisation by August 2025 at the latest.

Non-accessible content

The following own content and functions are currently not yet 100% accessible:

PDF

PDF documents can be generated in this system. If this feature is used, some PDF documents are currently not yet available in the accessible PDF/UA format. However, the order confirmation is alternatively available as an accessible HTML version. The PDFs will be made available in an accessible version as soon as possible.

System boundaries

The following functions / areas are provided by external providers and cannot be technically influenced by us, as they are outside the system boundaries:

Worldline Saferpay

Worldline Saferpay can be used as a payment platform in this system. Worldline, the provider of Saferpay, states that its digital content is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. “Partially compliant” means that some parts of the content do not fully comply with the accessibility standards.
