Layaway
Introduction
The web-based POS system 21.POS offers the option to pause/set aside sales. The layaway function is useful, for example, when a customer is already at the checkout and their items have been scanned, but they decide at the last minute to continue browsing the store. In the meantime, other customers can be served and checked out without any problems. When the customer returns, the paused shopping cart can be reopened. The previous products do not need to be entered again and additional products can be added easily. This guide explains how to use the layaway function.

Configuration
This module is not visible in the module management, but must be activated in the subscription add-ons. It does not require any configuration or activation.
Pause
You can pause a purchase with the pause button as soon as you have an item in your shopping cart. You can see the paused purchases by clicking on “paused purchases” in the bar at the top. These will be displayed as a list.
A purchase that is booked to a customer is also paused with the customer’s name. Purchases that are not booked to customers appear under the name of the cashier.
To complete and/or resume paused purchases, click on “paused purchases” and then on “apply” for the desired purchase.
